Brighten up your work space

As I am sat here wondering what to write about, I'm looking at one of my paintings on the wall for inspiration and it's just suddenly struck me that I have the answer staring right at me.

Art is a wonderful tool for creativity and in the work place. It's been universally acknowledged, that having beautiful, colourful artwork encourages people to delve deeper into their creativity and can make them more productive. Each of our animal friends have their own thing to bring to the party. All having their own individual characters which gets those creative juices flowing as you think about their individual back stories. I often find that when i'm painting each one, my own moods are often reflected in their personalities, sometimes a little too honestly! But isn't that what art is all about- to be thought provoking?

I'm all for using whatever tools are available to increase my productivity or even my mood, so maybe it's a positive move to introduce some art into your workspace. I know if I'm having a bit of a lull or a bad day, art always gets the creative juices flowing again and instantly lifts my mood.
